The topic we talked in this week is abstracted from the National Geographic.

And turkeys became the main actors we shared.

From the global gobblers, turkeys are gradually the main dish on human's diet.

This is really challenging that some words are never known before.

Though it's not a difficult one, it makes me halted on my way of reading.

The notion of this week was hard to express by words...

That I took some sentences to imitate the feeling inside.

Besides, without confessing and sharing,

keeping in silence is a better behavior than trivial actions.

DNR = Do not resuscitate

Any person who does not wish to undergo lifesaving treatment

in the event of cardiac or respiratory arrest can get a DNR order,

although DNR is more commonly done when a person who has an inevitably fatal illness

wishes to have a more natural death without painful or invasive medical procedures.



This week, I learned some words about food and some topics about global warming.

Concernig to health, we talked to each other and sharing the diease for "checking-out."

When the patient gives up the sequential treatment,

he or she can order the DNR for natural death without suffering more pain.

Class 13 - Disaster

511的地震，再度造成許多人的死亡，

然後有一連串的消息喧騰，

當然，生命的消逝是令人難過的，

但從幾個省思點去看這個災難：



1. 是天災還是人禍?

我們看到建築物倒塌，

走山運動瞬間掩蓋了所有生命，

不過，是被建築奪走的才是大多數；

這個地球一樣下雨、陽光、旋轉、地震、火山爆發......

是不是我們的居住環境過度地擴大，

才無法承受大自然的一個小小翻身呢?





2. 遠水與近火?

如果沒有災難，其實很難看見愛心，

這樣算是"患難見真情"嗎?

緬甸風災、四川震災，

好像都凸顯了自己人漠視自己人，

然後為了某種國家尊嚴而拒人於千里之外。

去幫助人的，不疑有他，

相信不是國威宣揚的一種，

而是一種悲憫的同理心為出發點吧...





3. 所謂的現實...

在這些災難背後，代表又有新的商機，

雖然不好聽的是發死人財，

不過現實社會就是如此，不然會聽到"災後重建股"這類的東西嗎?

這很像過去美國經濟穩健時，但缺乏成長動力，

想要用發起戰爭來刺激經濟是一樣的道理



如果要祈禱，那不要希望災難後沒有傷亡，

請許下災難會讓人更懂事、更堅強的願望；

如果要謁靈，請不要哭天喊地的為死者難過，

安魂曲是個幌子，真正要平息的、鼓勵的，

是那些存活下來的每個生命...

Class 12 - Mother's Day

"我之所以存在是因為她的給予"



我一直很喜歡天心為某人壽代言的廣告，

告訴我們及時去表現自己對於父母的愛。

就大多數、正常的母子關係而言，

我相信母親會都是大部分人生命的依賴。

有人說：因為上帝太忙碌，沒辦法照顧每個世上的人，所以給了母親來代為照顧。

或許，這句話在這個時代看上去不合時宜；

譬如說：憑什麼女生就得在家帶孩子之類的等女權主義的抨擊，

但是，女性所擁有的動物本能或是天性，

有些方面，可能是異性無法取而代之的。



我曾問過娘親說，你會不會想要有自己的工作?

｢當然想啊，可以自己經濟獨立，擁有完成事業的成就感。｣

不過，她也說了，其實很多工作的女性也會羨慕她，

在家工作帶帶孩子，料理家務就可以了，

當個貴夫人，似乎也是不錯選擇。

這樣的trade-off又回到了我常說的圍城理論，

更有人跨足於圍城兩端的世界，

成為了兩頭燒的職業婦女更是不容易。

或許，在台灣，未來父母雙職會是很普遍的情況也不一定。



我剛說的母親成為上帝照料孩子的化身

英文單字中incarnation就是賦予肉體的象徵(同時也代表上帝的復活)

而母親的象徵，就是去除的in的詞性，

carnation(康乃馨)表徵了許多默默付出的女性。

Class 11 - On the Cross

The zooming end of this semester gradually confuses my emotion.

One thing that choosing an instructor is really a big question mark.

I know it's easy if I want to pick up one arbitrarily;

however, I would like to know what they have been studying and  prepare more on similar directions.

Whatever, after interviewing with some professors apart feeling a little bit of uselessness,

I will have an exact answer next week to decide my last-half graduate life.

Besides, I have to do some research on the concerning topics.



Another suspension is that the expectation of proceeding to Denmark makes me feel contradicted.

Why? Casue there are too much TRUTH that stands on my way of dreaming.

I got more realization that why people and the famous architect, Ando Tadao, said that it's really hard to be persistent on your goal.

Sometimes, I might feel that what I want is bad for me or where I went wrong.



The other thing is all about affection.

I did not mean the love or lust only, and that could be existent or lapse from some relationships.

I read some sharing article that someone promised to be forever and faithful for their love or friendship,

but they derailed on the way & said an indifferent goodbye to you.

What a mistake he or she did to commit such a relationship. What a pity they dumped you!

PROMISE is a big word.



I believe more that everyone will change and lose the original looking and inner part of concept.

Easily speaking, people are oblivious of what they did, even is such a careful person like me.

We may know many different friends on differential phase of life.

I suggest that we have to keep an APPROPRIATE relationship and care to somebody.

If you try to use the words or cards to express your promise or prove the abiding future,

please keep in mind and consist your behavior with your words.



I am not so pessimistic to the hell,

but really little thing can last for long time only if you know how to cherish them...

Well, and I know somebody who glances here doesn't like to read in English,

therefore, that's the best cover to type in this way without ciphering.
