Thoughts expressed while sitting alone at the keyboard would be put more diplomatically.
But sometimes we lose the sense of face-to-face cues that nuture civility because of the prevailing use of online-chatting.
That results in "write first, think later" and gradually becomes a misbehavior of communication.
There is a poster concerning the stoplight and extension of the meaning;
it may reminds us of modulating ourselves while we are going chatting spree.
A stoplight says that......
When we feel upset,
we should remember that the red light means stop,
calm down and think before we act.
The yellow light prompts us to weigh a range of responses and their consequences.
The green light urges us to try the best response.
Not a bad idea.
